2. Hertfordshire where they looking for the clue from the air only to be “buzzed” by a slow flying Harrier Jet..awesome sight.

A good show – I disliked gameshows in general, but there were a very few that were intellectual and/or awe-inspiring in their sophistication. I think this qualifies for both.

Yes, unfortunately the “skyrunner” Jetranger G-BHXU suffered main rotor gearbox seizure 17 miles from Alderney, Channel Is., on the 28th July 1995. It ditched, but sank. Pilot Mike Malric-Smith was rescued.
The dark green+gold “communications helicopter” G-SPEY is still with the Castle Air fleet.
